When you support The Delores Project, you provide safe, comfortable shelter and individualized services to unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness. We rely upon the dedication of our supporters to provide a caring community for those who call The Delores Project home during times of homelessness.

The Delores Project provides safe, welcoming shelter to nearly 450 individual unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness each year. Financial contributions allow The Delores Project to provide a caring community for those who call The Delores Project home during times of homelessness.

As a private, non-profit organization, The Delores Project relies on the support of many different sources of funding, none of which are guaranteed year after year. The Delores Project works hard to leverage every dollar efficiently. We abide by the Donor Bill of Rights, and encourage donors to read our annual reports and financial statements.

Enterprise Zone

As an added benefit to our donors, monetary donations to The Delores Project may be eligible for the Colorado Enterprise Zone Tax Credit.

Monetary contributions may qualify for a 25% State of Colorado Tax Credit, and in-kind donations may qualify for a 12.5% Colorado State Tax Credit. See the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit Page for more details.

MONTHLY DONATIONS

Homelessness knows no season. Donating monthly means support we can count on through your  recurring donation to The Delores Project. The Delores Project ensures homeless women and transgender individuals have access to safe shelter throughout the year.

By making regular monthly contributions, donors keep our services available in the heat of summer as well as the bitter winter cold.

You can give as little as $10 per week, month, quarter or year.

Simply set up your donation schedule and your deductions will happen automatically, straight from your credit card, debit card or bank account. Sign up today, or contact our development team to learn more about recurring donations.

Host an Event for The Delores Project

From house parties to bake sales, dinner dances to golf tournaments, and everything in between, many of our fundraising efforts are by people in the local community who take it on themselves to plan, organize, and execute events. There is no limit to the creative ways to support The Delores Project. If you would like to host an event for The Delores Project, please contact Cassandra Cordova or (303) 534-5411.
