The spirit and generosity of our many donors and volunteers make it possible for us to continually serve women in need of safe shelter. There are many ways you can contribute to Delores and make a difference in the lives of the women we serve.

Making a cash contribution or a planned gift ensures that the women of Delores will continue to receive the critical services they need today and in the future. For more information about donation to Delores, please contact our Development Director by calling 303-534-5411.

Gifts made by cash or check are the most common ways of making a gift to Delores. Cash gifts are an easy way to contribute and earn a charitable deduction against your income taxes.

The Delores Project is a qualified charity under the Denver Enterprise Tax Zone. All donations over $500 are eligible for the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit.

Donate by Phone- Call our Development Director at 303-534-5411 to make a donation over the phone.

Donate by Mail- Mail your donation to The Delores Project, Attention: Development Department, P.O. Box 1406, Denver, CO 80201-1406.

Donate a Matching Employer Gift- If your employer matches donations to charity, your donation doubles! Please contact our Development Department at 303-534-5411 about matching employer gifts.

Workplace Giving Programs allow you to make your tax-deductible gift to The Delores Project through payroll deductions. To find out if your employer is a Workplace Giving Program participant, contact your human resources office.

In order help keep the expense of operating the shelter to a minimum, we are always looking for people to donate items we use everyday at Delores. We accept new and gently used twin sized quilts, sheet sets, and pillows. Common items we are always looking for are paper products, cleaning items, and food.
